Faced with a lack of space to accommodate a growing family, our clients choose to put down roots with a design that was conceptualised for a long-term Pilbara lifestyle.
Working closely with the owner and home designer, we created this aesthetically pleasing 4×2 home with an enclosed garage, large outdoor living area and expansive boat port to suit this family’s needs.
Open plan living areas with a seamless transition from outdoor to indoor creates a sense of a substantial space while the position on the land and clever window placement maximises airflow resulting in a Building Energy Star Rating (BERS) 7.4-star energy-efficient home.

Wanting to stay close to their children and grandchildren, our clients engaged Build Pilbara to purpose-build a 2×1 granny flat to complement the existing residence on the block.
The new home is a functional, self-sufficient space enhanced by a private outdoor deck, essential to the Pilbara lifestyle, and all the perks of a larger home.
It was built to achieve BERS 6.1-star energy efficiency accreditation by orientating the house to maximise cool breezes and cross ventilation through large openings and the use of lightweight reflective materials also shielded from the sun.
